2012

Dennis first time over a fence

Doris produced a stunning colt foal "Dennis" on the 8th May 2007 which we hope will follow in "Florences" (Bathleyhills Sea Swift) footsteps being by the same sire "Thursden Vallye Raphael" who is a Cuddy Finalist stallion, who is now working at Medium Level dressage and who has proved without doubt his success in the show ring taking many championships in his first year of being presented in the show ring and has now moved on under saddle with huge success.

The son of Graded Sports Pony Stallion Aimbry Chester and with the influential warmblood breeding of his Grandsire, which includes Advanced Dressage Stallion Wadacre Chicko, Ramiro Z, Lady Killer, Rastell and Raimondo. His mother has classically bred top class riding pony breeding her sire is Yealand Nightowl and also includes Bottingelle Swansong, Bwlch Valentino, Oakley Bubbling Spring and Blueprint in her bloodlines.

Dennis mum "Doris" (Rohey Sparkling Maydream) has also medal winner parentage to match.

Dennis has now been backed Christmas 2011, although late it was no fault of his own - my fault completely as I produced a baby Daughter in September 2011!!!!

January 2012 he has been to two unaffiliated Dressage competitions being fabulously behaved and won his first two Prelim Classes his first time out on 72.5% and 70.8%!!!!!!

We decided as a last minute decision to loan him to Shannon Bridson who alongside her mum have visited us annually from the Isle Of Man to stop at the yard in between shows.

Shannon competed him for the first time at the BSPS Winter Championships, we thought for a pony who had only been backed 12 weeks this was a big ask, however Dennis thought everyone was there to see him and played to the crowd. Attending four appearances in the Evening for various classes and Championships did not upset him at all, he loved every minute of it being perfectly behaved and foot perfect throughout all the music, hunting horns and various ponies getting slightly upset about it all.

It proved to us we have got the breeding programme right for the results he came home with and the temperament being second to none!!!!!!

Dennis has since done two RIHS Qualifiers for his next two shows, won both his classes and will be competing there 2012!!!!

At his 4th ever Show he competed in a HOYS Search For A Star and won his class qualifying for 2012.

2010

2010 - Dennis is now proving without doubt to be successful in the show ring in his own right, he has a fabulous temperament, travels alongside mares and is housed alongside other stallions, mares and foals.

He has only been lightly shown with success and will go to various shows in the season 2009 but our long term plans will be for him to go out under saddle in the dressage or showing arena.

Thursden Vallye Raphael a striking son of Graded Sports Pony Stallion Aimbry Chester out of a classically bred Yealand Nightowl mare. This elegant bright bay has an exquisite head, fabulous paces and superb temperament. He has taken all the qualities from his father’s influential warmblood breeding which includes Advanced Dressage Stallion Wadacre Chicko, Ramiro Z, Lady Killer, Rastell and Raimondo and his mother’s top class riding pony breeding which includes, Bottingelle Swansong, Bwlch Valentino, Oakley Bubbling Spring and Blueprint. In 2008 as well as continuing a top level in hand and ridden showing career he will be produced by International rider Lisa Marriott as a Dressage pony, he is already working at elementary level. Won first time out Novice 21 scoring 69.5% and currently has 17 BD points.
