Ted is jointly owned with the Metheringham Upton Stud based at Upton, Notts and arrived with us in 2008. His conformation is superb alongside good movement and the most exceptional temperament.

With his excellent bloodlines and temperament we believe he will be an asset to any mare owner to produce the most fabulous youngstock.

He would be the ideal stallion to use to add bone, substance and a fantastic temperament. Either to produce youngstock for the showring as "hunters" or to the lighter weight mares for eventing. He will also produce the most fantastic "family" friends with willing able temperaments.

His stock have already proven themselves in the showring gaining Championships and always well placed at County Level.

We are hoping to update his photos again, as the camera didnt cope very well under the bright lights!!!!!

Ted works up to Elementary Level but has not continued under saddle due to time put into the Sports Pony side of the stud, then the arrival of our baby daughter, however if time allows he will come back into ridden work as he is just a pleasure to ride.

He is housed alongside our other stallions in an American Barn system with mares and foals surrounding and passing him daily. What more could you ask for? He was worked in our outdoor manege surrounded by mares, foals, youngstock and older ridden horses which as you can imagine often have a mad half hour or try to talk to you over the manege fence when you are working, how many stallions could deal with that!!!

We welcome anyone to visit him and see him at home at any time with prior arrangement.

Competition Results......

After training slowly and correctly as we didnt want to rush Ted, we presented him at his first dressage competition in January 09. He found the Arena a little spooky but was on his best behaviour throughout the day. The photos we have taken unfortunately are not the best as the camera didnt cope well with the lighting.
