Daisy has been bred
by Sarah Flintham of Hockerwood Farm our superb AI
Centre. She is by Simply The Best our jointly
owned Irish Draught Stallion, out of Sarah's lovely AES
registered mare "Legs" who has the most fantastic bloodlines
of top class horses.
With her superb
bloodlines both from her Dam and Sire she should have
everything - scope, ability, conformation temperament and
movement to make a top show horse and the aim is to present
her at County Level in 2010.
She has already
proved to be successful in the showring as a foal taking the
"Champion Foal" and then "Reserve Champion" Hunter at Gate
Burton Show against strong classes of mares, foals, and
youngstock.
Daisy has arrived
back to our yard for the 2010 show season and had her first
trip out to Newark & Notts County show. Her manners
were absolutely fantastic in the pouring rain and wind and the
judge commented on her fabulous walk in the Sports Horse
Class. She has grown up over the Winter and looks
fabulous, with her huge front and elegant paces we hope she
will gain some fantastic results over this season, we took
some photos of her when she arrived back and will update over
the summer......
